In 2015 I had a professional cleaning company for 5 years where I regularly found myself wanting to declutter things for my clients after noticing something was never used and only collected dust. My cleaning services became very popular because I would always organize as I go but sometimes it was difficult without decluttering things first. To declutter I needed extra time. Eventually I started asking for permission to spend extra time doing detailed work in specific areas outside the spectrum of just cleaning. I began to see it as bringing balance to each room by removing stagnant clutter and piles of stuff.
